What is Poutine? Originally from Canada Poutine usually consists of hot & crispy French fries, topped with just melting cheese curds (these are not readily available in the UK, but there are some good alternatives) with a rich savoury gravy on top!
Here we have made our own version using our Garlic Butter seasoning and we think the results are pretty damn good!
So here's to a quick easy super snack, perfect when watching the game and having a beer or two!

Melt the butter then whisk in the flour, cook off for a few mins. Then add your stock, and remaining ingredients, whisking well as it comes to the boil, reduce for a few minutes then lightly simmer.
Season to taste.
For the chips if not using shop bought
Peel and cut the potatoes into finger sized chips
Soak in water for 30 minutes, drain and dry
Lightly oil then oven bake for 30 minutes
Melt 20g Butter and combine with 2Tbsp Garlic butter seasoning. Toss this through the cooked chips, add the chopped parsley and toss to combine again
Take 4, 6, 8…(as many as you want) Babybel, tear each in half and put them into the gravy to soften for a few mins.
Mix half the gravy through the chops and then pour the other half on top!
Enjoy so much you will have to get up and make them all over again, or make double at the beginning!
