Here we have made our super quick Harissa Red Onions.
These keep well in the fridge for a while and are the perfect accompaniment to many a meat or cheese dish!
Mix 2 tbs Harissa Seasoning with 1 tsp salt, 200ml red wine vinegar and 200ml water, add some Urfa chili if you're feeling spicy.
Chop 2 red onions in your preferred fashion and squash into a jar with the pickling fluid from step 1 leaving as little air space as possible. Store in the fridge, enjoy in sandwiches, on humus, with roast veggies or even alone in the dark.
