Major Tom Lasagne

A true Italian classic given the A&O touch

ingredients

  • 30g Major Tom Ragu Seasoning
  • 750g beef mince
  • 1 diced onion
  • 2 carrots diced.
  • 2 garlic cloves mince
  • Grated parmesan cheese
  • White sauce (béchamel)
  • 500g jar Passata
  • Lasagne pasta sheets (I used fresh sheets)
  • Mozzarella cheese grated
  • Mature cheddar cheese grated

Directions

  1. Heat a large pan with a drizzle olive oil and add the carrots and onion and cook off for a few minutes before adding the mince beef.
  2. When beef is fully browned off add the garlic, passata, ragu major tom and stir thoroughly and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Now to build the lasagne. On the bottom of the dish layer mince beef, white sauce, sprinkle of parmesan and then pasta sheets. Do this order until you reach the top of the dish then sprinkle the top with mozzarella cheese and cheddar cheese.
  4. Place into a pre heated oven 200c and cook 20-30 minutes or until the cheese on top is melted and golden brown.
  5. Take out of the oven and leave to rest of 10 minutes before cutting and serving.
  6. Serve with an Italian side salad.
