Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich

Crispy, fiery, and downright addictive. This Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich brings the heat with every bite. Marinated in buttermilk and Hella Nashty seasoning, double fried for max crunch, and drenched in a spicy hot butter glaze, it’s stacked high with slaw, pickles, and lettuce in a toasted brioche bun.

Warning: one bite might not be enough.

ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken thighs
  • Angus & Oink Hella Nashty seasoning
  • 250ml buttermilk
  • 120g plain flour
  • 1 tbsp cornflour
  • 50g butter
  • 1 cup hot sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 brioche buns
  • 2 pickles, sliced
  • Shredded iceberg lettuce
  • ½ cup slaw (shredded cabbage, carrot & radish)

Directions

  1. Soak the chicken in buttermilk and Hella Nashty seasoning, let it marinate in that fire.
  2. Coat in seasoned flour and cornflour for extra
    crunch.
  3. Fry at 160C for 5 mins, rest for 5 mins, re fry at 180C until deep golden and crispy.
  4. Melt butter, stir in more Hella Nashty seasoning, hot sauce, and honey, this is liquid gold.
  5. Drench the chicken in that spicy goodness.
  6. Pile into a toasted brioche bun with shredded iceberg lettuce, slaw and pickles.

Take a bite. Boom.
