A delicious alternative to the classic Christmas roastie or a fabulous side to your Festive Gammon? We are absolutely loving the flavours our epic Ranch Seasoning is bringing to these Potato Dauphinoise (Or Dolphin Noise as our Mrs Oink likes to call them)!
This is a really quick easy way to knock up a delicious dauphinois Should you need a quick side dish or Warming winter midnight snack.
Ingredients
- 3 medium size potatoes, peeled and sliced very thinly. (Don’t throw the peelings)
- 120g of cream cheese
- 120 g of milk, full fat

1 tablespoon of Ranch Seasoning
- Salt and Black pepper season.
- 100g salted butter
- 80g grated mature cheddar
Directions
Pre heat oven to 185C
In a bowl, combine the cream cheese milk, Ranch Seasoning,and salt and pepper - whisk well
Add your sliced potatoes to soak up all that goodness for a minute or two
Transfer the potato slices to a oven ready dish
Pour over the Dauphinoise creamy mixture
Dot with blobs of butter
Cover with mature, grated cheese
Cook at 185°c for 50-55mins until golden, tender and bubbling
Leave to stand for 5 minutes before serving
