Are you ready to embark on a flavour journey like no other? Picture succulent slices of tender, marinated steak nestled within a crusty baguette, topped with crisp, fresh veggies, and seasoned with our epic Sriracha seasoning.
Ingredients

1 French Stick
-
250g sirloin, sliced into thin steaks
- 2 large garlic gloves, crushed into a paste.
- 1 shallot, thinly sliced.
- 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon Mirin
- 1 tablespoon light soy sauce

1 tblspoon Sriracha rub

1 Large Carrot
-
1 Med Turnip
-
Juice of 1 lime
-
1 tsp Castor Sugar
-
1 tsp table salt
-
2 Tbl Sp Mayo
-
Freshly Chopped Chilli

Bunch of Coriander
Directions
In a bowl combine: 2 large garlic gloves, crushed into a paste. 1 shallot, thinly sliced, 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar 1 tablespoon fish sauce, 1 tablespoon Mirin, 1 tablespoon light soy sauce, 1 tblspoon Sriacha Seasoning
Pour this marinade over your steak and marinated in a fridge for a minimum of 2 hours
Using a mandolin or sharp knife -
Cut one large carrot and one med turnip into thin match sticks.
Coat with the juice of one lime
Add 1 tsp castor sugar
Add 1tsp table salt
Leave to pickle for a min of 45mins
Mix 1 tsp of sriacha seasoning with 2tblsp of mayo and juice of half a lime.
In smoking hot pan or searingly hot BBQ, cook your steaks to your liking. Charring bits for extra flavour is best.
Slice a French stick, smear with sriacha mayo. Add a healthy bunch of fresh Corrinder, Pickled carrot and turnip, steak, more pickled carrot and fresh chopped chilli.
Eat immediately.
