It's official. We created the American BBQ Dream right here. Sweet with fruit and sugar and a little heat from our delicate blend of chillies and spices, this rub is the one for making Porky Cola Cubes! Yee hah!

Simply rub all over your pork or chicken, cook and then make a tasty JD and Cola reduction sauce from the natural juices. Try it, you’ll love it!!

Ingredients (Allergens in CAPS & BOLD)
Sugar, Salt, Fruit powders (Orange, lemon, Lime, Pineapple), Coriander, Anise, Black pepper, Chilli Powder, Vanilla Sugar, Cinnamon, Citric Acid, Silicon Dioxide (<3% as anti-caking agent). Flavour enhancers (E621 & E631).

When we got news that we were being invited to compete in The Jack Daniels World Championship Contest 2018 we decided to create a rub to celebrate! Our resident rub wizard got to work and started creating, what is the best thing to go with Jack Daniels, well that would be Cola, of course.

Pit Boss BBQ Sauce - amazing!!

Ordered some more rubs (which I love) and the Pit Boss BBQ sauce - wow, it’s the best BBQ sauce I have ever had - will be ordering more!!

As with all the seasonings we have tried from angus and oink, this is amazing. Since discovering angus and oink will not shop elsewhere for seasoning again.

Pudding Rub?

I know, you're thinking this sounds good on ribs right? I don't think so. I put this on some pork loin and within 20 minutes was greeted by what we all agreed was the smell of freshly baked mince pies. It was nice enough, but I think it would be more suited to a festive ham!

I actually ate a teaspoon of rub by itself and I have to say it was actually nice like that lol. The rub is not noticeably salty, or spicy, but is very fruity, and sugary with a little tingle of black pepper. Almost sherberty and slightly fizzy, I personally think it's a blend more suitable to deserts - for example it adds unique depth to an apple crumble. Add some to the fruit, then another dusting before serving.

It's a good rub, but "jack and cola" it most certainly isn't!

EDIT: Doubling down on this review as I just tried some on vanilla ice cream and it was insanely awesome!
