Sugar, ah honey honey...

The inspiration behind our Chinese Style Hot Honey - Happy Ending was born in Florida of all places! Orlando has some real hidden gems away from the main drag and thanks to Phil Rosenthal's channel (Somebody Feed Phil) we picked up a few tips for our 'three streets back' flavour exploration...

...And that's how we ended up at DOMU, a Japanese spot in the Michelin Guide doing everything from ramen to the crispiest fried chicken we've ever fought over! Deep-fried, properly crisp, and glazed in a Chinese-style hot honey. Six pieces between us. We cleaned every bone and moved to the next before anyone could call dibs. The batter was great. The chicken was delicious. But it was the sauce is that made the whole thing ridiculously good!

This was indeed a Happy Ending to a great holiday - so we came home an developed the flavour - for you!
