Funky Cheeseburger Burrito

Cheeseburger meets burrito, falls in love and has THIS baby. These wraps stuffed with beef, cheddar, pickles and salad are given a mighty flavour injection with our Mexican seasoning.It’s movie night food at its best.

ingredients

For the Cheeseburger:

  • 250g minced beef
  •  2 tbsp Mexican seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  •  4 slices of cheddar cheese

 

For the Burrito Assembly:

  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • Lettuce leaves, shredded
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1 small red onion, finely diced
  • 2 pickles, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce (optional, for a spicy kick)

Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix the minced beef with the Mexican seasoning and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the beef mixture. Cook, breaking it up with a spatula until fully browned (about 5-7 minutes).
  3. Place the cheese slices on top of the beef and allow them to melt in
  4. Heat the tortillas in a dry skillet until warm, squeeze over ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise (if using) down the centre of each tortilla. Spoon over the cheesy beef burger mixture, add the salads and pickles and wrap tightly.
  5. Slice the burrito in half and serve with a side of fries, extra dipping sauces, or a simple salad.
