Greek Hasselback Halloumi with Chorizo and Honey Glaze

This ain’t your average squeaky cheese.
We’re talking crispy chorizo tucked into golden halloumi, seasoned with Big Phat Greek, kissed by the skillet, and finished with a sticky honey glaze. Topped with spring onions for that final fresh punch.

Sweet, salty, spicy, and straight-up irresistible.

  • Block of Halloumi 
  • Big Phat Greek Seasoning  
  • Chorizo Slices  
  • JD's Xxtra Hot Honey 
  • Sliced Spring Onion

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven/BBQ to around 200°c and pre heat your pan/skillet.
  2. Carefully slice the halloumi about half way down (be careful it can crumble).
  3. Fold the chorizo slices in half and place in the cuts you’ve just made. 
  4. Season the halloumi with Big Phat Greek. 
  5. Place your halloumi into the skillet or pan and place into the heat. 
  6. When the chorizo starts to crisp, cover the halloumi in the honey and put back in the heat for a few more minutes.  
  7. Remove from the heat and garnish with the spring onions
