Montreal BBQ Chicken

BBQ Chicken with a creamy apple slaw and corn - it’s a classic that never gets old, especially when Montreal Steak & Burger is involved. Get the seasoning onto the chicken the night before and you’ll be rewarded with some big, bold BBQ flavours. Sizzlingly good, fast food to feed a hungry crowd. 

ingredients

  • 8 chicken thighs
  • 8 corn on the cobs
  • 3 tbsp A&O Montreal Steak & Burger
  • Drizzle of oil

For the slaw:

  • 2 Bramley apples, peeled and sliced into thin strips
  • 2 carrots, peeled and sliced into thin strips
  • ½ white cabbage, outer leaves removed, chopped into thin strips
  • 1 cup mayo 
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt & pepper 
  • Handful of chives

Directions

  1. Place the chicken in a dish, drizzle with oil and sprinkle over the A&O Montreal Steak & Burger seasoning. Leave to marinate in the fridge overnight. 
  2. Prep the slaw - add all the ingredients to a bowl and season generously. Mix the mayo and lemon and add to the slaw, adding more to get your desired consistency.
  3. Par boil the corn to soften the kernels, drain and set aside.
  4. Cook the chicken and the corn on the BBQ for that extra char and delicious smokiness, adding more seasoning as you go for a meal that smacks with flavour. 
  5. Serve on a big platter and dive on in.
