Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich

A fusion of a Philly Cheesesteak with a next level hot dog, this sandwich is a mouthwatering masterpiece packed with juicy ribeye, sizzling onions and peppers, and lashings of creamy melted cheese.

It’s smoky, rich, and unapologetically bold, with our Montreal Steak & Burger seasoning bringing in notes of dill, garlic, pickles and pepper. The Friday night dream.

Directions

  1. Fire up your BBQ or stove to high heat.
  2. Place the ribeye on the grill and season one side with 1/2 tbsp of the Montreal Steak & Burger seasoning. Cook to sear for around 1 minute, then flip to cook the other side, scattering over another 1/2 tbsp of seasoning.
  3. Cut the steak up on the grill (or if cooking in a pan, remove onto a board, cut into slices and return to the pan). Add the onions and peppers to the same pan, add the remaining 1 tbsp of seasoning and stir fry with the steak until softened and nicely coloured.
  4. Slice open the buns and lightly toast them on the grill.
  5. Melt the ingredients for the cheese sauce together in a pan. Fill the rolls with the steak mix and a generous drizzle of the cheese sauce.
  6. Serve hot with a side of fries and extra pickles
