Pulled Pork Buns

Slow-cooked pork collar, glazed and pulled to perfection. Brioche, slaw and a heavy pour of Hog Heaven or your favourite A&O BBQ sauce. Pile high and bite in.

ingredients

  • 2.5kg pork collar
  • 3 tbsp Hog Heaven BBQ sauce
  • 3 tbsp Sweet Bones & Butts Rub
  • Half a white cabbage, shredded
  • Half a red cabbage, shredded
  • 2 red onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 carrots, grated
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1tbsp cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • Brioche buns
  • A&O BBQ sauce of your choice!

Directions

  1. Rub the pork collar all over with Sweet Bones & Butts, using Hog Heaven as the binder.
  2. Set your smoker to 120°C and cook until the pork hits 82°C internal, then brush with more Hog Heaven and return to the smoker until 92°C.
  3. Rest for 30 minutes, then pull.
  4. Toss the white/red cabbage, onion and carrot with mayo, cider vinegar and sugar.
  5. Pile pulled pork into brioche buns with plenty of slaw and your favourite A&O BBQ sauce.
