Suya Lamb Steaks on Garlic Flatbread

Fabulously Tasty and Deliciously Easy!

This is definitely one for a mid week supper!

ingredients

  • Two Lamb Leg steaks per person
  • Suya Seasoning
  • Cucumber chopped as you like
  • Cherry tomatoes, halved.
  • Red onion, sliced and combined with salt, lemon juice and a little Suya Seasoning - leave for at least 30 mins to lightly pickle.
  • Coriander, chopped.
  • Flatbread - homemade or shop bought
  • Garlic Clove Finely Chopped
  • 15g Butter

Directions

  1. Dust the lamb legs with Suya Seasoning and leave in the fridge if possible between 2-24 hours
  2. Lightly coat with oil, salt and pepper. Grilling over a smoking hot skillet or direct over hot coals for 2-3 mins per side.
  3. Once cooked remove and leave to rest for 5 minutes
  4. Warm the flatbread, once hot brush with butter and finely chopped garlic
  5. Slice the lamb and add to the bread
  6. Top with the cucumber and red onion, and if you want to add some crushed dry roasted nuts they are awesome too!!
