Shish Happens - Adana Kebab
During Easter break, founder Scott and his son Lewis travelled to Istanbul, a city that sits at the heart of the ancient spice routes and has been on their bucket list for years.
Every stop was a flavour bomb. Every dish told a story.
But it was the Adana kebab that changed everything.
Deep, smoky, rich and cooked over charcoal, it was unforgettable!!
This was the flavour they wanted to take home.
Once home, we rebuilt the taste from memory, one spice at a time: smoked paprika, cumin, garlic, onion, lemon, parsley, and more. The cat on the label was a no brainer; it was one of Lewis' favourite memories of Istanbul. A true father and son collaboration.
