All cast iron products must be seasoned before use. (Except for enameled pans.) After use, the pans should be cleaned and re-greased with a thin layer of grease.
The pans can be seasoned and maintained according to the included instructions. Be sure to apply a thin layer of seasoning to the cast iron products to prevent sticking. After seasoning, the pans will be significantly darker in color and will have a protective layer against rust.
