Introducing Nicola Buchan…
Nicola’s journey hasn’t been easy. She has faced some incredibly dark moments, including a battle with depression that could have stopped her in her tracks. Instead, she chose to fight.
Becoming a mum of two ignited a spark in her, bringing everything into focus and pushing her to rebuild her life from the ground up. And rebuild she did.
Nicola has achieved things most of us never even dream of. She has run 47.5 miles… Yes, all in in one go! She has endured 18 marathons in 18 consecutive days, and she has discovered her love for strength sports, rising through the competitive ranks at lightning speed, but she didn’t stop there.
Nicola opened her own gym, a space where people now find strength, community, and belief in themselves. Her story,an inspiration for those facing their own battles.
And now she’s taking on her biggest challenge yet, IRONMAN. The wild part? She can’t swim, she’s petrified of cycling, and she has to face both before tackling the marathon finish. But if Nicola’s journey demonstrates anything, it’s that determination doesn’t just silence doubt, it outruns it! She’s also taking this opportunity to raise awareness and funds for Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC UK), a charity providing exceptional support to families facing unimaginable loss.
