A delicious starter or add a salad for a flavoursome main course! Delicious herby flavours from the rosemary and garlic in our Italian Stallion Seasoning
Ingredients
- 4 large portobello mushrooms
- • 4 Italian sausages, casings removed
- • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- • 1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley or basil)

Directions
1. Heat your oven or bbq to a about 200°C.
Remove the stems from the portobello mushrooms and gently wash
2. Remove sausages from casings and In a mixing bowl, combine the sausage, shredded mozzarella cheese, chopped fresh herbs, and Italian Stallion. Mix well to incorporate all the ingredients.
Stuff the sausage and cheese mixture into the portobello mushroom caps, dividing it evenly among them.
Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking tray or indirect in bbq for 20/25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the cheese is melted, lightly browned and sausage fully cooked (above 71°).
Remove the grilled sausage-stuffed portobello mushrooms and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve as a delicious appetizer or main dish. Lush.
