Easy Italian Stallion Lasagne

As Autumn comes around we start to look for quick easy comfort foods! This one is a real family pleaser using our deliciously herby Italian Stallion seasoning!
Ingredients
- 500g beef mince
- 6 Cumberland sausages, skins removed and broken up into mince.

1.5tbsp Italian Stallion Seasoning
- 1 large white onion, thinly sliced.
- 1tbs tomato puree
- 1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
- 200ml passata
- half tbsp sugar
- Glass of good red wine
- 200ml chicken stock
- 100ml whole milk.
- Salt and pepper
- Lasagna sheets
- 500g of ricotta cheese.
- 200g mature cheddar, grated, plus extra for topping
- 1tsp nutmeg
- Half the zest of a lemon
- 1tsp white pepper
- 100g parmesan, plus extra for topping

Directions
For the Ragu
In pan brown of the beef and sausage mince then remove from pan and set aside.
Soften the onions in the same pan, adding a splash of water to deglaze, adding the tomato puree once onions soft and light gold in colour.
Cook puree out for a few mins.
Return the meat and any juices to the pan, adding a glass of good red and a allowing to cook out for a few mins.
Then add the Italian Stallion seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, stock, passata, sugar and milk and bring to simmer
Leave for at least an hour and a half.
Once the ragu has reduced and is unctuous. Remove from heat.
For the Super Speedy White-Ish Sauce
Combine all of the above ingredients for a super speedy white sauce.
For The Assembly
Layer up your baking tin/lasagna tin or whatever you choose to use.
Start with a little of the ragu, then a layer of pasta, then ragu, then white sauce, then pasta, ragu, white sauce, pasta, ragu then finally white sauce.
Top with a finally layer of grated parmesan and cheddar cheese.
Cook at 180ºc for 40mins or until golden on top with those crispy dark bits around the edges.
