Hungry Oinks Tom Yum Sushi Rolls by Paul

Another amazing recipe idea for Hingry Oinks Tom Yum Seasoning, this recipe was created by one of our amazing customers Paul!

Sushi rolls

250g Sushi Rice
3 tbls rice wine vinegar
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp of your favourite salt, or Japanese Seasoning
3 sheets of seaweed sheets
Cucumber, thin strips and red pepper, thin strips.
Any type of fish, ie Mackerel,  Tuna, Salmon.
Tom Yum Noods seasoning

Wash sushi rice in a bowl until water becomes clear, keep draining and adding water to do this.
Add rice to 330ml of cold water and bring to boil.
Simmer for 10 mins.
Remove from heat and place a lid on it and dont touch.
Leave to cool down to room temperature by placing in a separate bowl.
Once cool, using wet hands ( or the  rice will stick to you ) spread out evenly onto seaweed sheet ( rough side up ).
Mix vinegar,  salt and sugar and sprinkle onto rice.


Now give a good sprinkle of Tom Yum Noods, dont be shy.

Add cucumber, pepper and fish about 1 inch on to rice

Using a bamboo roller roll sushi, keep pulling tight to get that shape.
Slice with a sharp wet knife( to stop rice from sticking ) and enjoy.
